The Learning Edit was created to give children supportive, high-quality tuition in a calm and encouraging setting. Matt leads the teaching, while Sally manages the day-to-day running of the business and parent communication. Together, they aim to make tuition feel personal, organised and genuinely supportive for both children and families.
Meet the people behind The Learning Edit
Matt is the teacher behind The Learning Edit. He is a qualified primary teacher with experience across Key Stage 2, and has taught in both state and independent schools. He has a particular interest in STEM subjects and loves finding ways to make learning engaging, practical and fun.
As a dad of three, Matt understands that every child learns differently. He takes real pride in helping children work through challenges, overcome problems and grow in confidence, creating a calm and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and having another go.
Sally is the Business & Operations Lead behind The Learning Edit. She looks after enquiries, bookings, parent communication and the day-to-day organisation of the business, helping make the whole experience feel clear, friendly and well supported from the very beginning.
Alongside The Learning Edit, Sally works as a nurse and is a mum of three. She understands how important good communication, reassurance and consistency are for families, and takes pride in making sure parents feel informed and supported throughout their child’s tuition journey.
